1) What is a Stripe account and do I need it?
Stripe is the gateway payment that we use to receive donations on your behalf when you create a campaign. When you create a campaign, you will need a Stripe account to connect with the website. This will enable you to receive funds directly when people donate to your fund raising campaign. Creating a Stripe account does not take time. The website will prompt you to do so when you are creating a campaign. If you already have a Stripe account you will only need to Login and connect it when prompted. 2) Do I need a Bank account when I create a campaign?
Yes. Your bank information will need to be connected to your Stripe account so that when donations are received on your behalf they will be deposited directly into your bank account. Stripe is a very safe gateway payment that many people use in the United States and around the world.

3) Can I create a fund raising campaign from my country?
For now people from 15 countries can create fund raising campaigns on this website. On the other hand, people from any country in the world can donate to any campaign. The countries where you can create a campaign for now are: United States, Canada, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherland, Portugal, Spain, and The United Kingdom.
We are working to add other countries in the future.

4) Who can donate to my fund raising campaign?
Anyone from any country can donate to your fund raising campaign. All you need to do is to publicize your campaign as much as possible. But donors need to have a debit or a credit card to donate irrespective of the country.

5) Is it safe?
It is very safe to raise funds with us. Your information is protected. The payment gateway that we use (Stripe) is also very safe. We do all that we can to protect you.


6) What happens if I do not reach my goal?
Nothing. You will still take how much money that you have raised. At the same time you are encouraged to publicize your campaign as much as possible so that you can reach your goal. Remember we provide the vehicle but you have to drive it.

7) How will I receive the funds donated to my fund raising campaign?
You can withdraw money from your campaign anytime shortly after you start receiving donations. You do not need to wait till the end of the campaign for you to receive the funds donated to you. This notwithstanding, there is a process that you have to follow.
You will login to your Stripe Account and click on withdraw. The first withdrawal might take a few days but during the first process of withdrawal you will be asked how often you want money to be transferred from your Stripe account into your Bank account. Your response will determine how long it will take to receive subsequent funds donated to you. It can be daily, every other day, once a week etc. 

Therefore:
Login to: https://Stripe.com . This is the payment Gateway account that you created or Sign In when you were creating a campaign.
In this account you will be able to withdraw your funds and these funds will be transferred directly to your Bank Account.

8) What can I raise funds for?
Funds can be raised for any cause as long as it is legal. We will stand with you side by side as you raise the funds.

9) Is there a fee?
Yes. There is a fee which is deducted from the funds donated to your campaign. There is no upfront payment. If you do not receive any donations you are not going to pay anything. You can see the Pricing & Fees section for details.


10) Do donors get charged a fee when they donate?
Absolutely not. They only pay how much they decide to pay. There are no hidden charges.

11) Who is allowed to create a fund raising campaign on this website?
Adults from the 15 countries shown above are allowed to create fund raising campaigns here. Minors can also do create campaigns on condition that they do so with the consent of their parent(s) or guardian.

12) What do I need to do to register my Not-For-Profit / Charity with this website?
United States Charities must have the 501 (3) C status. You will need to complete the form on the Homepage of the website and we will respond to you to complete the process. For charities in other countries you will still need to complete the form and we will respond to you.

13) Are there any time limit?
Normally the default for campaign is 50 days but you can decide to make it shorter if you wish. But for Charities there is no limit except that they are making specific fund raising that will also be done for 50 days.
